Ski course offers for young & old
From beginners to those with more experience
The ski courses are offered by the professional Resch ski school under the leadership of Matthäus Resch from Forstau for children from age 2.5.
From beginners to those with more experience
Ski and snowboard courses are offered for children and adults. Simply register at the hotel reception. There is something for all ages and ability groups. The children’s ability is assessed on the first day and they are divided into different levels. So all skiers will be placed in the right group for their ability level.
We offer ski courses for beginners, courses for those with more experience and private lessons, so parents can also find the best offer for themselves (course times and course prices available on request).
Everything for your ski holiday
for children & families
In our “Bambinis in the snow” offer, we do everything to help your children negotiate the snow with confidence. We learn to walk in ski boots, get used to standing up in them and also try to slide a bit on skis. We learn to ski safely with fun games and songs without any pressure or obligation.

When the children go skiing in the Forstau/Fageralm ski region, they’ll be taken on the free ski shuttle to their ski course in the morning and brought back again in the afternoon.

The first day
We ask you to bring your children to the assembly point (next to the climbing frame) in the Forstau/Fageralm ski areapunctually at 9.30 am. You will be welcomed there by the ski instructors from the Resch ski school. After showing the instructors their skiing ability, the children are then assigned to a suitable group. The children go for lunch with the ski instructor in a chalet in the Fageralm ski region. At 3 pm, parents can collect their children from the agreed meeting point.
From the second day
From the 2nd day and until the end of the course, the children are taken to the Forstau/Fageralm ski area by ski bus at 9.20 am (accompanied by the childcare team, meeting point at the car park/exit to the ski room) and picked up again at 3 pm in the afternoon after the ski course. Children whose parents aren’t back in the hotel at 3 pm will be looked after in the kids’ club. Each child will receive a “ski bus ticket” for the transfer from reception when you book the ski course. For organisational reasons, only children with this “ski bus ticket” can make use of the transfer.
Important information
For the ski course, the children need a valid ski pass for the Forstau/Fageralm ski region. This can be purchased from reception. The ski course with the Resch ski school, supervised lunch and ski pass for the Forstau/Fageralm are not included in the price.
We will arrange all the equipment you need when you go skiing.
To prevent skis and ski boots getting mixed up during the ski course, you can get labels for them from our reception. So there won’t be any confusion, even when your children bring their own equipment with them!
