A unique experience

Hiking with children

Our nature, the meadows, the mountain pastures and the forest are one giant playground. Your children can walk over wooden bridges and cross the babbling stream, balance on tree stumps and become a bit braver every day. We can make a hat from large leaves, create animals from pine cones and build a giant dam by the stream.

Watch with your children as the nimble squirrels jump from tree to tree. The forest and its residents offer a new adventure for your children every day.

Discover the mountain pastures and huts

Salzburg - the federal state with the most alpine pastures

Stop and enjoy the views in one of the many huts that serve food. The food on our mountain pastures is a pure delight.

Treat yourself to traditional dishes and home-made Kaminwurzen sausages, bacon, butter, flavourful Alpine cheese and farmhouse bread. Try a genuine Salzburg grey cheese with seed oil and onion rings!

After a relaxing break, you can return to the Seitenalm with renewed energy and a rucksack packed full of happy emotions!
